the wild card

Within the Arcana lie infinite possibilities (souls). Gods, demons—myths, and legends. For the typical Persona user, only a single possibility inherent to their heart can be accessed. But a Wild Card transcends such limitations. They are privy to its vastness, able to reach in and beckon these powers to their aid. However, the shape of a Wild Card’s soul may still bind them. Specific Personas are better attuned to their soul than others, and those of the latter may prove unwieldy. A select few can negate even this rule: the Fool. Embodying the number ‘0’—their very existence is ontological nothingness—infinity itself. And so, their soul would be attuned to any possibility.
excalibur

Excalibur, obtained from traversing the depths of Monad many years ago. One of the two swords owned by Makoto Yuki, it is unknown if it is the actual sword of legend, or a convincing copy of the original. Nonetheless, its holy steel shines bright, cleaving Shadows and Demons alike, not only granting Makoto a bonus against them, but further strength, endurance and agility when wielding the blade. Because of its almost-divine-like properties, only the Messiah can properly lift it and wield it like a common broadsword. Anyone else who would dare to use it find themselves burdened and blinded by the radiance, their very beings burned away from the face of the world.
Masakado's Katana

Masakado’s katana enshrined at Chiyoda City. A blade that exists in other parallel worlds, a sign of usage by a true hero; In this case, it is currently wielded by Makoto Yuki. With a great stature that surpasses forty inches, her blade is imbued with a special property to cleave through all physical defenses, but able to use any element that a Persona she wields possesses. Like Excalibur, it only accepts Makoto as its sole wielder, as the Messiah is one who surpasses all possibilities through sheer willpower.
Omnipotent Orb

A sphere containing a portion of an unknown divinity. They are gifted to the Attendants by Lord Philemon himself and instructed to bestow their guests these unfathomably powerful orbs to them once they have bested their Attendant in combat. Not even the wisest of them knows how an Omnipotent Orb is made, as both Philemon and Igor strive to keep its creation process well-hidden. When merged with the bearer's existence, it breaks their shackles and frees them entirely from the logic of all things.
magatama

Magatama are mystical beads suffused with elemental magic and represent their respective element through distinct colors. The wielder harnesses their potency by assimilating it within their soul and unleashes the spell it embodies. Remarkably, since the magical power of the Magatama has already been actualized, no tithe is demanded from the user's soul to manifest the spells held inside. Makoto carries all elemental Magatama (Flame, Frigid, Shock, Gale, Bless and Darkness) as well as the Megidolaon Gem, functioning the same as the elemental Magatama.
theurgy
“Spiritual magic that could reach the gods”. When a Persona user reaches a form of elation that synchronizes with both heart and soul, body and emotions, the idea of “Theurgy”, can be realized. In most cases however, most Persona users can feel the advent of this elation such as when going through intense combat. Makoto is able to use a combination of several Personas to create unique spells.
willpower
Mankind carries within them boundless potential. By willpower alone, those who have tapped into their metaphysical powers may evolve in strength when facing death or even if a foe is too great for them in strength. No conventional limit exists to this evolution, as even ontological gaps in power can be crossed by a mere increase in resolve. Be it a day or amid battle, a soul can flourish at a moment’s notice. Moreover, amplified strength is not the sole benefit of a human’s determined soul. Two other known products of the human soul are the capability to regenerate and adapt to supernatural abilities. Should the soul in question carry enough resolve, healing wounds—no matter how abstract—can be instantly regenerated in a plume of azure flame. The power of Willpower comes from Makoto’s collective bonds with not just her allies at SEES, but those she bonded within a year. It was this power that allowed her to seal Erebus’ access to Nyx, not only overcoming Death through sheer determination alone, but becoming invulnerable to its effects.
universe arcana

The symbolization of a new beginning or a new end. The power used to stop The Fall, and to seal Nyx away from humanity itself. Combined with the bonds of SEES, the Universe Arcana provided a miracle and an impossibility to become possible, forging the Great Seal and providing a new beginning for all of humanity to walk without fear of the premature end. At the cost of Makoto Yuki’s own life, the Great Seal remains stalwart for all eternity, within the deepest parts of the sea of souls. Due to the effects of the Universe being specifically to one scenario, none except for her infinite adaptation to any scenario, can be applied.

Although not free from the Great Seal entirely, Makoto’s consciousness has been projected into a Cognitive Copy of her original body. While it has the ability to grow and get older to a degree, all that remains within her body is her consciousness, being piloted by that alone. Her soul remains within the Great Seal, continually serving as a barrier between Erebus and Nyx. Her physical body feels no pain, and her own being as a Cognitive Copy allows her full immunity against conventional weaponry, physical and non spiritual attacks, similar to Personas, Shadows and Demons.
